Students will work in international teams to tackle real-world problems faced by rural youth\, culminating in the design and presentation of community-based project proposals. \n\n Target Group\n\nEspecially suited for students passionate about youth engagement\, community development\, and social innovation\, regardless of academic background. \n\n Learning Objectives\n\nParticipants will: \n\nIdentify and critically analyze challenges in rural youth contexts.\nCollaborate with peers and local stakeholders.\nCo-design impactful\, community-based projects.\nDevelop key transversal skills:\n\nCritical thinking & problem-solving\nCommunication & advocacy\nCreativity & innovation\nProject planning & leadership\nIntercultural awareness & teamwork\n\n\nReflect on their development as change-makers.\n\n\n Structure & Methodology\n\nFormat: Blended (online + in-person in Santarém\, Portugal) \nDuration: 4 weeks (90 hours total; 3 ECTS) \n\nWeeks 1–2: Online sessions and tasks\nWeek 3: Face-to-face training and fieldwork\nWeek 4: Online closing sessions and reflection\n\n\n Certification\n\nA certificate of attendance will be issued by the course organizers upon successful participation.
