This Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) brings together students from different countries and disciplines to explore how project management can transform sustainability and social good into tangible action. Working in multicultural teams\, you help create social impact by addressing this real question: What are the challenges and benefits of establishing a local PM4NGOs Hub\, and what advantages can it offer to universities\, NGOs\, and communities? Using a problem-based methodology rooted in design thinking\, you will analyse real-world contexts\, identify problems\, and co-create practical\, sustainability-driven solutions. This BIP equips students with knowledge and tools to foster purpose and meaning in any career\, expanding perceptions of social good. It encourages understanding of how effective project management drives innovation\, resilience\, and sustainable impact. Together\, we can make the world better — one project at a time. \nCourse Description:\n \n\nOnline sessions: There will be two online sessions\, each lasting 1\,5 hours. This session will cover online (e.g.\, introduction to key concepts\, group discussions\, preparatory work). Include indicative dates.\n\nFirst Welcome section: Acexperience + Presentation of teachers\, programme and venue. Design thinking methodology explanation. Introduction to key concepts such as sustainability\, social good and project management. After the opening ceremony\, teams will be formed\, and the countries serving as the challenge context will be chosen. During the BIP\, students from across the alliance will work in multicultural teams to explore how and why a Hub could be implemented in their country. The challenge is structured into three parts: 1) context analysis\, 2) identifying real problems\, and 3) designing practical solutions using core project management tools such as the triple constraint\, stakeholder mapping\, cost–benefit analysis\, risk assessment\, and theory of change. It is a hands-on method in which the teacher mentors the learning process. Each day\, students will attend brief lectures introducing tools and concepts relevant to the challenge. Teachers will be available to mentor teamwork. By Friday\, teams must organise their materials to participate in a fair open to the community\, where they will present their ideas. The best team will be chosen by popular vote and teacher assessment\, with recognition at the closing ceremony.\n\n\nFollow-up / reflection: Students will fill out an online Diagnostic survey in advance of the first online meeting to help develop tools and lectures that support their learning. In the last 0n-site day\, they will also answer an online perception survey to highlight what they have learned and their satisfaction with the BIP.\n\n  \nSpecific learning objectives include: \nKnowledge & Understanding: \n\nUnderstand key concepts of project management: triple constraint\, stakeholder mapping\, cost–benefit analysis\, risk assessment\, and theory of change.\nRecognise the Social Good concept in driving sustainability-oriented impact.\n\nSkills: \n\nAutonomy in learning and decision-making.\nProblem-solving applying creative and design thinking.\nApply project management tools to design feasible and sustainability-aligned solutions.\nWork collaboratively in multicultural teams to make evidence-based decisions.\nCommunicate project proposals visually through structured outputs (Context → Problem → Solution posters).\n\nAttitudes: \n\nDevelop intercultural sensitivity\, collaborative work\, and ethical awareness.\nValue the importance of professional project management skills as a driver of sustainable actions.\n\nBy the end of the course\, students will be able to: understand the fundamentals of project management and social good\, while also applying sustainability in practice. \nWhich students would find this course useful for them? \nThis course may be suitable for students from ACE2-EU partner universities enrolled in undergraduate or postgraduate programmes in the following fields: \n\n\n\nAny student interested in sustainability and purpose-driven development\nStudents interested in developing skills to work in multicultural teams\nStudents interested in developing design thinking skills\n\n\n\nThis course may be suitable for those who have an interest in: \n\n\n\nBusiness and management\nSustainability\nProject management\nSocial economy (NGOs\, social networks\, social movements)\nSocial sciences\n\n\n\n\nRecommended language level:\n\nBasic to intermediate level of English (B1-B2)\, as the working language will be English\n\n\n\nImportant notice: \nParticipation in this Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) is subject to confirmation by the student’s home institution. DESCRIPTION:Course Type: Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) for staff \n  \nApplication Process: \nInterested applicants should \n🔗 Apply here — https://forms.gle/1uzVcC43LvkPtNgq5 \nDeadline for receipt of applications: 29 May\, 2026 \nPlease note that submitting an application does not guarantee a place on the programme. Participating institutions apply their own internal selection procedures. \n  \nDuration and Learning Format \nProvide a clear overview of the course structure\, including: \n\nThe total workload is 75 hours\, broken down as follows:\n\nSynchronous online activities: 5 h\nOn-site (physical mobility) activities: 30 h\nIndependent and group work: 40 h\n\n\nDates:\n\nOn-site component: 15-19 June\, 2026\, Ingolstadt\, Germany\nOnline component: 9 & 16 July\, 2026\n\n\n\nPlease note: Under Erasmus+ rules\, the minimum on-site duration for a BIP is five days. Only administrative and teaching staff who attend the full on-site week (15–19 June 2026) will be counted as BIP participants. Lecturers attending for a shorter period are welcome to join but will not be registered as BIP participants. \n  \nCredits and Certification \nCredits: 3 ECTS \nCertification: participants will receive a certificate of attendance \nOrganising Institutions and Teaching Staff: \nLead and Host Institution \n\nTechnische Hochschule Ingolstadt\, Germany\nAnna-Lisa Klages\, Sonja Bedington\, Fiona Nimser-Büchner\, Lara Schäfer\n\nPartner Institutions \nFrancisco de Vitoria University (UFV)\, Spain \n\nAlma Vázquez Esteban\n\nMedical University Gdansk (MUG)\, Poland \n\nDawid Spychała\, Karolina Derda\n\nCourse Overview \nBIPs – short for “Blended Intensive Programmes” are Erasmus+ programmes that offer a unique opportunity to enhance international collaboration and develop innovative transnational learning formats while benefiting from dedicated Erasmus+ funding that supports travel\, coordination\, and innovative course design. \nThey create a flexible space to experiment with new pedagogical approaches\, combining virtual collaboration with short\, impactful in-person exchanges that energise both students and instructors. It is financed by Erasmus+ funding\, allowing for organisational support (min. 4.000€) in addition to travel grants for participants. \nSince BIPs are ‘new territory’ to several institutions within the ACE²-EU Alliance\, the aim of this BIP is to train colleagues to become BIP experts. During the programme\, we will provide you with insights regarding terms\, conditions\, and particularities of BIPs\, thereby developing structures and processes to strategically embed BIPs into institutional developments. \nThis BIP addresses two target-groups: \n\nAdministrative staff involved with coordinating\, supporting\, and facilitating BIPs within the ACE²-EU Alliance and\nProfessors and scientific staff interested in developing a BIP in the areas of teaching\, research\, and/or entrepreneurship.\n\nThis is delivered as a single BIP structured in two phases\, not as two parallel programmes. During the first part of the on-site week\, the programme is dedicated to administrative staff\, who take a deep dive into BIP coordination\, evaluate best practices and develop a joint scheme for processes within the Alliance. In the second part\, the programme moves into project-based learning: administrative staff put what they have learned into practice\, while teaching staff receive a guided introduction to BIP development and work on potential BIP ideas to be taken further afterwards. Sessions on inclusive and diversity-sensitive BIP development\, as well as inputs on communication\, are open to all participants. \nAt the end of this course\, you will know everything you need to know about how to organise and coordinate your own BIP. Participating lecturers will have used the opportunity to exchange ideas\, work together in workshops to develop topics and content with colleagues from different Alliance institutions. In addition\, we will have laid out a foundation for the strategic positioning of BIPs to foster teaching\, research\, innovation\, entrepreneurship\, and vocational training within the ACE²-EU Alliance. \nLearning Journey \nThis BIP is divided into four major parts: \n\nIntroduction and information (on site)\nBest practices\, adaptation\, and integration (on site)\nExploration and structuring (on site)\nReflection and improvement (online)\n\nFor administrative staff: At the beginning of the course\, participants will receive a conceptual introduction to and important information about BIPs. After having gained in-depth insights\, they will develop processes and structures needed for the establishment of a workflow at their home institutions and within the Alliance. To do so\, they will work with case studies to assess best practices and pitfalls with the organisation of BIPs. \nFor teaching staff: Lecturers will join the programme on Wednesday. They will receive a concise introduction to BIP structures and how to develop a BIP. Furthermore\, they will learn about possibilities and potentials of integrating BIPs into their academic practice\, before they will take a deep dive into developing their own BIP ideas. \nThroughout the course\, hands-on workshops will be accompanied by thematic inputs on topics such as the development of inclusive and diversity-sensitive teaching formats or target-group-oriented communication. \nAll content-related activities will be accompanied by exercises and socio-cultural events that foster a positive working atmosphere. Furthermore\, social activities will allow for networking and thematic exploration. \nDuring the online follow-up sessions\, participants will reflect (9 July 2026) on post-on-site developments as well as focus on potentials for improvement (16 July 2026) of processes and developed structures. \nLocation: TH Ingolstadt \nDate: 15-19 June (on-site)\, 9 & 16 July (online) \nLearning Objectives \nBy the end of this Blended Intensive Programme\, all participants will be able to independently plan\, coordinate\, and strategically position a BIP within the ACE²-EU Alliance — equipped with the knowledge\, tools\, and cross-institutional networks needed to make Erasmus+ funded BIPs a sustainable part of their academic and administrative practice within the ACE²-EU Alliance. \nSpecific learning objectives include: \nBy the end of the BIP\, attending administrative staff will be able to: \n\nExplain the key terms\, funding conditions\, and structural requirements of Erasmus+ BIPs within the ACE²-EU Alliance context.\nEvaluate best practices and common pitfalls in BIP coordination by analysing real-world case studies.\nImplement sustainable administration processes for the integration of BIPs into institutional internationalisation strategies\nDesign institution-specific workflows and coordination processes that enable the systematic organisation and support of BIPs at their home institution.\nDevelop a strategic framework for embedding BIPs into their institution’s existing structures and the broader ACE²-EU Alliance strategy.\nApply target-group-oriented communication strategies for the promotion of BIPs\n\nBy the end of the BIP\, attending teaching staff will be able to: \n\nAssess how BIPs can be strategically integrated into their own academic practice across the areas of teaching\, research\, and/or entrepreneurship.\nDevelop a concrete BIP concept in collaboration with colleagues from other ACE²-EU Alliance institutions\, applying principles of inclusive and diversity-sensitive course design.\nPromote equity\, diversity\, and inclusion with their teaching\nRefine their BIP concept based on inclusion\, diversity\, and intersectionality dimensions\n\n  \nLearning Outcomes (By the end of the course\, participants will be able to): \n\nDevelop innovative and meaningful BIPs from theory to practice\nImplement sustainable administration processes\nDevelop communication and promotional strategies to improve the visibility of BIPs\nApply communication strategies to audiences from differing backgrounds\nPromote equity\, diversity and inclusion in international teaching formats\nCollaborate effectively with international colleagues\nTranslate institutional goals into practical implementation steps\nContribute actively to future BIP development through networking\, exchange of expertise\, and Alliance-based cooperation\n\n  \nWho would find this course useful? \nThis course may be suitable for teaching and administrative staff from ACE²-EU partner universities in all fields. \nThis course may be suitable for those who have an interest in: \nLearning how to plan\, coordinate\, implement\, and develop Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs) within the ACE²-EU Alliance. \n\nRecommended Language Level:\n\nEnglish B2-C1\n\n\n\nPrior to the start of the course\, participants will receive a welcome email from the ACE²-EU Alliance with detailed instructions specific to the course. \n  \nFurther Information \nFor any further information or queries related to the course\, please contact: \nDr. Anna-Lisa Klages\,  ace2eu@thi.de

SUMMARY:Kaleidoscope Culture Festival 2026 – Second Edition “100 Voices – One Future”
DESCRIPTION:Period: 28-30 October 2026 \nSchedule (draft version): \n \n  \nOrganised by: Constantin Brâncuși University of Târgu Jiu\, Romania \nDeadline for registration: 20 May 2026 \nCertificate of attendance: Yes \nRegistrationlink: https://forms.gle/K2bn5VuTvGDQPyZi8 \n\nObjectives: The Kaleidoscope Culture Festival aims to foster intercultural dialogue\, mutual understanding\, and collaboration amongst students from all ACE²-EU partner universities\, by creating a shared space where cultural diversity is not merely presented\, but actively experienced\, explored\, and celebrated.\n Event short description (from the project): The ACE²-EU Kaleidoscope Culture Festival will allow students of the alliance to showcase their respective cultures to others at a festival setting and on an annual basis coinciding with the Annual Assemblies of the alliance to promote multiculturalism\, multilingualism\, and inclusion across the alliance. Student teams from each member university will create a different and novel cultural programme each year to reflect their national and regional identity and heritage. The cultural and linguistic programmes to be presented can be composed of individual/multiple elements including national and regional forms of art\, literature\, language\, music\, dance\, sport\, or cuisine.\n Target group: ACE²-EU Alliance Students\n Structure & Methodology: The Kaleidoscope Culture Festival 2026 is a three-day intercultural experience built around two core principles: collaboration and creative expression. Rather than simply presenting cultures side by side\, the festival brings students together to co-create\, dialogue\, and learn from one another.\n\nDay 1 – 28 October – Students kick off the festival with team-building activities\, the Puzzle of Culture Challenge\, and the Student Innovation Lab. The evening features the International Cultural & Creative Showcase and a Folk Dance Night. \nDay 2 – 29 October – A day of hands-on learning through Exploratory Practice Labs\, theatrical performances\, an ACE Talk\, and a Digital Storytelling Lab\, ending with a Masquerade Ball. \nDay 3 – 30 October – The final day brings reflection\, a City Exhibition\, and the ACE Gala Awards Ceremony\, closing with a Grand Dinner. \nThe festival’s methodology is rooted in the principles of interculturality\, going beyond simply acknowledging cultural differences to actively fostering dialogue\, shared experiences\, and mutual learning between participants. This distinguishes the Kaleidoscope Culture Festival from a traditional cultural showcase: students are not passive spectators but active co-creators throughout the entire experience. \nThe festival draws on several key pedagogical approaches: \n\nChallenge-based learning – students arrive with pre-developed proposals responding to a real-world question: “How can cultural diversity strengthen social well-being in communities?” This encourages critical thinking and the development of concrete\, applicable solutions.\nLearning by doing – through Exploratory Practice Labs\, Digital Storytelling workshops\, and theatrical performances\, students engage in hands-on activities that make cultural exchange tangible and meaningful.\nCo-creation – rather than presenting ready-made content\, students collaborate across universities and cultural backgrounds to jointly develop ideas\, outputs\, and performances.\nReflection – a dedicated reflection session on the final day allows participants to consolidate their experiences\, drawing personal and collective insights from the festival.\nAlignment with ACE²-EU values – every activity is designed to reinforce the core values of the Alliance: multiculturalism\, multilingualism\, inclusion\, and a shared European identity.\n\nTogether\, these approaches ensure that the Kaleidoscope Culture Festival is not simply an event\, but a meaningful intercultural learning experience that leaves a lasting impact on all participants. \n\n Registration and participation (include link): https://forms.gle/K2bn5VuTvGDQPyZi8\n\nParticipants must attend the full sessions and contribute to collaborative tasks: Yes \n\n Attendance certification: Yes\n Contact & Coordination\n\n    For any questions or support related to the event\, please contact: \n\n\n\nAsnāte Kalēja\nLatvian Academy of Culture\nasnate.kaleja@lka.edu.lv\n\n\nVilda Grybauskiene\nLietuvos Inzinerijos Kolegija Higher Education Institution\nvilda.grybauskiene@lik.tech\n\n\n Carolina Müller\nCarinthia University of Applied Sciences\nC.Mueller@fh-kaernten.at\n\n\nGabriela Dobrota\nUniversity Constantin Brâncuși Târgu-Jiu\ngdobrota70@gmail.com\n\n\nVerónica Berhongaray\nFrancisco de Vitoria University\nv.berhongaray@ufv.es\n\n\nEmilia Wiśniewska/Marzena Kołtoniak\nMedical University of Gdańsk\nwelcome@gumed.edu.pl\n\n\nSusana Franco\nSantarém Polytechnic University\nsfranco@esdrm.ipsantarem.pt\n\n\nMarija Gogova Samonikov\nGoce Delcev University Stip\nmarija.gogova@ugd.edu.mk\n\n\nJanine Lang\nTechnische Hochschule Ingolstadt\njanine.lang@thi.de\n\n\n\n  \nDownloald KALEIDOSCOPE OPEN CALL
