Professors participating in this group will collaboratively develop the academic content of the programmes\, defining the different learning pathways and training itineraries\, as well as thematic specialisations and progression routes. Introduction to key concepts such as sustainability\, social good and project management. Digital activity applying the concepts.\nSecond Case Study Presentation: Presentation of PM4NGOs by its executive director\, explanation of the challenge\, Q&A to prepare for on-site sessions.\n\n\n\n\nOn-site sessions: Students will be welcomed in Portugal at the Faculty of Management and Technology of Santarém Polytechnic University. After the opening ceremony\, teams will be formed\, and the countries serving as the challenge context will be chosen. During the BIP\, students from across the alliance will work in multicultural teams to explore how and why a Hub could be implemented in their country. The challenge is structured into three parts: 1) context analysis\, 2) identifying real problems\, and 3) designing practical solutions using core project management tools such as the triple constraint\, stakeholder mapping\, cost–benefit analysis\, risk assessment\, and theory of change. It is a hands-on method in which the teacher mentors the learning process. Each day\, students will attend brief lectures introducing tools and concepts relevant to the challenge. Teachers will be available to mentor teamwork. By Friday\, teams must organise their materials to participate in a fair open to the community\, where they will present their ideas. The best team will be chosen by popular vote and teacher assessment\, with recognition at the closing ceremony.\nFollow-up / reflection: Students will fill out an online Diagnostic survey in advance of the first online meeting to help develop tools and lectures that support their learning. The course focuses on creating inclusive solutions to real challenges in line with the ‘Society for All’ vision and\, through a service-learning (SL) and project-based learning approach\, engages students in meaningful community initiatives that encourage complex and holistic interventions to support the well-being and participation of people with disabilities.“ \n Course Description:\n \nThis course offers an immersive learning journey that combines interactive online sessions\, practical onsite experiences\, and reflective follow-up activities\, designed to strengthen students’ knowledge and skills in inclusive education and support for people with disabilities. \nThe programme begins with interactive online activities (17 – 19 November 2025)\, introducing participants to essential concepts such as sustainable development\, human rights\, and the principles of creating schools and societies for all. Students will explore key topics including neurodiversity\, disability and special educational needs\, equity in education\, and universal design frameworks (including Universal Design for Learning and Augmentative and Alternative Communication\, as aligned with the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities). The sessions will also address different types of accessibility\, assistive and smart assistive technologies\, as well as approaches such as Person-Centered Planning and User-Centered Design. \nThe learning experience continues with the onsite component (01 – 05 December 2025)\, blending theoretical modules with applied\, hands-on engagement in real-life contexts. Students will gain a deeper understanding of the support systems available for people with disabilities\, covering topics such as social support services\, the interdisciplinary roles of professionals\, and communication techniques adapted to various types of disabilities. Practical activities will include participation in adapted games and social engagement at a Day Centre for people with disabilities\, as well as observational and interactive sessions at a Centre for Inclusive Education. These sessions will provide insight into differentiated teaching tools\, the comparative benefits and challenges of inclusive versus mainstream education\, and the role of families in the educational process. Students will also engage in case study analysis\, examining how educational\, social\, and medical services integrate to ensure comprehensive and continuous care. \nThe course concludes with online reflection activities (12 December 2025)\, where participants will consolidate and share their learning. Students will be encouraged to organize workshops at their home institutions\, design awareness campaigns\, produce educational materials\, and collaborate on mini-projects with universities or local organizations.
