Riga, Latvia – 23 of March
The International Entrepreneurship Traineeship Programme has officially launched at the Latvian Academy of Culture, as part of the ACE²-EU European University Alliance. The initiative brings together students from across Europe for an intensive, practice-oriented learning experience focused on creative industries and sustainability.
This week, 20 students from 9 partner universities have gathered in Riga to participate in the programme, which is being delivered simultaneously in Latvia, Germany, and Poland. The multi-country format combines local engagement with international collaboration, offering participants a unique opportunity to develop entrepreneurial skills in a dynamic, cross-cultural environment.
The programme began with a joint hybrid lecture on Design Thinking, led by creativity expert Līva Stūrmane. The session provided participants with essential tools and methodologies to begin developing innovative, real-world business ideas.
Throughout the week, students will engage with Latvia’s creative and social entrepreneurship ecosystem, interact with industry stakeholders, and collaborate in international teams. The programme will culminate in the presentation of business ideas to a professional jury at Startup House, providing participants with valuable feedback and real-world exposure.
Implemented by the ACE²-EU Entrepreneurship Academy, the traineeship programme aims to strengthen interdisciplinary cooperation, enhance practical learning, and foster innovation across the Alliance.
