Entrepreneurship Traineeship Week 2026 Launched at the Medical University of Gdańsk

Gdańsk, Poland – 23 March 2026

The Medical University of Gdańsk has officially launched the Entrepreneurship Traineeship Week 2026, welcoming students from across Europe to an intensive, practice-oriented programme aimed at developing entrepreneurial competences, fostering innovation, and strengthening international collaboration.

The event takes place from 23 to 27 March 2026 and is implemented within the framework of the ACE²-EU European University Alliance.

This unique initiative is delivered simultaneously across three partner institutions, each focusing on a key sector:

  • Medical University of Gdańsk (Poland) – healthcare and sustainability
  • Latvian Academy of Culture (Latvia) – creative industries and sustainability
  • Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt (Germany) – automotive sector and sustainability

Students selected the location that best aligns with their academic interests and professional aspirations. In Gdańsk, participants explore entrepreneurship through the lens of healthcare innovation, emerging technologies, and sustainable solutions.

A Dynamic Start to the Programme

The programme commenced with an introductory session on Design Thinking, led by experts from Creativity Lab Latvia and the Pomeranian Science and Technology Park. This session provided participants with essential tools for creative problem-solving and innovation.

Students are working in interdisciplinary and international teams, applying structured methodologies to address real-world challenges in the healthcare sector.

Hands-on Learning and Industry Engagement

Throughout the week, participants will take part in a comprehensive programme that includes:

  • practical workshops on Business Model Canvas, User Experience, and pitching
  • mentoring sessions with innovation and entrepreneurship experts
  • visits to key innovation hubs, including the Gdańsk Science and Technology Park (GPNT), the Pomeranian Science and Technology Park (PPNT), and the EXPERYMENT Science Centre
  • engagement with external stakeholders from the regional healthcare and technology sectors

Supporting Future Innovators

The programme is open to students from all disciplines and levels of study, offering a supportive environment for both beginners and those already developing business ideas.

Upon successful completion, participants will receive 1 ECTS credit and a certificate of participation, enhancing their academic and professional profiles.
