ACE2-EU Student Onboarding Programme: ACE-Rookies (ACERs). The ACERs student onboarding programme will be available online to all ACE2-EU students registering for a joint learning opportunity. The ACE-Rookies onboarding will include a pre-arrival information package, including an Alliance overview, a digital welcome and student orientation sessions, including practical travel information, information on available support, expectations of their participation in a joint learning opportunity and information on EU and Alliance values. This induction process will strengthen the student’s identity as part of the Alliance and highlight the unique aspects and opportunities of being part of the Alliance.
Active Learning Pedagogy Schools (ALPS). ALPS will be made available to staff who will provide collaborative learning opportunities for Alliance students. ALPS will offer academic staff the opportunity to participate in an intensive 4-day training programme in Active Learning Pedagogy. Active Learning Pedagogy is a pedagogical approach that emphasises student-centred learning, involving their active engagement and participation in the learning process. It involves the use of hands-on methods in which students participate, collaborate and solve problems, thereby developing critical thinking and creativity. Teachers act as facilitators, guiding students through interactive activities, discussions and real-world applications. It is envisaged that 9 ALPS programmes will be delivered throughout the project, one hosted by each Alliance member.
