Student-Led Colloquium and ARC Industry Engagement Event 2026 to Take Place in Gdańsk
The Medical University of Gdańsk will welcome participants from across the ACE²-EU Alliance for two interconnected events designed to strengthen collaboration between students, researchers, universities and industry partners.
Taking place from 24 to 26 November 2026, the ACE²-EU Student-Led Colloquium and the ARC Industry Engagement Event will create a unique international platform for knowledge exchange, networking and innovation.
Strengthening Academia–Industry Collaboration
The ARC Industry Engagement Event, running on 24 and 25 November, will focus on building stronger links between academia, industry and regional stakeholders.
Participants will have the opportunity to engage with company representatives, technology transfer professionals and innovation experts through presentations, panel discussions and networking activities.
The programme will explore topics such as:
- Collaboration between universities and industry
- Innovation ecosystems and regional development
- Technology transfer and commercialisation opportunities
- Student mobility and research internships
- Entrepreneurship and innovation support through the ARIES Incubator
- Matchmaking sessions connecting participants with potential partners
An exhibition area featuring companies from across the ACE²-EU Alliance will be open throughout the event, providing additional opportunities for interaction and collaboration.
By Students, for Students
The Student-Led Colloquium will bring together students and early-career researchers from ACE²-EU partner institutions to share experiences, present research and develop new skills.
In addition to poster presentations and networking opportunities, participants will join practical sessions focused on academic and professional development, including:
- Scientific publishing and academic writing
- Innovation and entrepreneurship workshops
- Building a personal brand in science
- International research and mobility opportunities
- Peer-to-peer knowledge exchange across the Alliance
A dedicated poster session will showcase research conducted by students from ACE²-EU universities, culminating in a poster award ceremony on the final day.
An International Platform for Future Collaboration
By bringing together students, researchers, university leaders, innovation experts, companies and regional organisations, the events aim to promote interdisciplinary cooperation and create new opportunities for future projects across Europe.
Participants can expect three days of inspiring discussions, practical workshops and valuable networking opportunities that demonstrate the strength of collaboration within the ACE²-EU Alliance.
