Today marked the launch of the Culture Traineeship Programme for Staff, an initiative promoted by the ACE2-EU and hosted at the campus of Universidad Francisco de Vitoria in Madrid.
The opening day began with participant registration followed by welcome remarks from the Vice-President, Juan Pérez Miranda, and ACE2-EU – UFV leader Chelo Pérez Ocaña. Both speakers emphasised the strategic relevance of culture as a driving force for strengthening the identity and cohesion of the Alliance.
The programme combined interactive dynamics — including an icebreaker session — with reflective working spaces focusing on the role of the Culture Hub within the Alliance, the development of intercultural competence through the “Wheel of Interculturality”, and a final session entitled Building Bridges: Internationalisation as a Shared Mission.
This first day has laid solid foundations for collaborative work aimed at reinforcing European values, fostering intercultural dialogue, and consolidating a truly integrated academic community.
