Next week, on 3–4 November 2025, the Latvian Academy of Culture (LAC) will welcome lecturers and researchers from nine European universities to Riga for the third ACE²-EU Alliance academic networking event “ACEploration.” The two-day gathering will take place at the LAC campus in the creative quarter of Miera Street 58a.
Under the theme “Connecting, Engaging and Communicating: across disciplines, communities and cultures,” this edition of “ACEploration” will focus on how higher education institutions can foster meaningful dialogue and collaboration:
- within academic and professional environments,
- with society and local communities, and
- across disciplines, cultures and countries.
Participants will engage in a series of interactive formats – from co-creation sessions and open discussions to final pitches of joint short-term learning programme concepts. A cultural moment with LAC student researchers and a Riga Old Town walk will offer additional space for informal exchange and inspiration.
“ACEploration” is the ACE²-EU Alliance’s key networking platform for academic staff, promoting innovative approaches in teaching, research, and community engagement. Each partner university hosts one edition of this event, encouraging knowledge exchange, sharing of pedagogical practices, and the development of joint initiatives.
