Theme: Safety and Security for a Resilient and Inclusive Society

Stip, North Macedonia – The ACE European Alliance officially launches the first day of ACEploration at Goce Delcev University in North Macedonia, a two-day event dedicated to advancing dialogue, innovation, and collaborative solutions around the theme “Safety and Security for a Resilient and Inclusive Society.”
Hosted on-site in Štip on 17–18 November 2025, the event brings together students, academic experts, researchers, and professionals from across Europe to address some of the most pressing challenges affecting communities today. ACEploration serves as a platform for youth-led innovation, interdisciplinary exchange, and the co-creation of solutions that strengthen resilience and security at social, digital, and environmental levels.
Event Theme and Subthemes
This year’s edition focuses on three major dimensions of safety and resilience:
- Safe and Inclusive Society
Exploring ways to foster social cohesion, dignity, and participation in everyday life and during crisis situations.
Topics include community responses to emergencies, cultural resilience, safe learning and living environments, and international cooperation in times of crisis. - Physical and Digital Security for Innovation and a Resilient Europe
Addressing preparedness and the protection of critical infrastructures, digital systems, and essential services.
Participants will pitch ideas ranging from medical and emergency response mechanisms to digital security, network protection, and economic resilience. - Climate and Environmental Safety
Focusing on risks stemming from climate change and environmental degradation.
Discussions include energy and supply chain security, climate-related risk management, food security, crisis preparedness, and safeguarding essential services.
