Today’s programme involved a deep dive into the legal realities of domestic violence, combining theory with a powerful courtroom simulation.

⚖️The theoretical part of the programme saw participants explore:
– Legal frameworks in criminal and civil law
– Victims’ rights, restraining orders and custody disputes
– Criminal liability of perpetrators
• Ethical considerations and case law
• Cooperation between social services and the justice system.

The session provided a comprehensive overview of how institutions collaborate to protect vulnerable individuals.

🏛️ Practical workshop
Held inside a real court of law, role-playing exercises brought theory to life. Participants stepped into the roles of victim, aggressor, judge, lawyer, social worker and psychologist, experiencing courtroom procedures firsthand.
