Santarém Polytechnic University continued the ABC programs of the ACE2-EU European University, with a second day dedicated to practical activities and engagement with the local context.
Throughout the day, participants visited the Escola Superior Agrária de Santarém, where they had the opportunity to explore the wine sector. The visit included the school’s facilities, production areas, and livestock, providing direct insight into the reality of education and research within the agricultural field.
In the afternoon, the group visited Quinta da Lagoalva, where they also observed the operations of a professional wine estate, reinforcing the practical component and direct contact with the industry.
These activities allowed for the deepening of knowledge in a real-world context, promoting applied learning and collaborative work among participants from diverse backgrounds within an international and interdisciplinary environment.
