Strasbourg, France, ACE²-EU was represented at the FOREU4ALL Workshop “From Campuses to Communities: Enhancing Engagement and Sense of Belonging in European Universities”, hosted by the EPICUR Alliance at the European Parliament in Strasbourg on 2-3 June 2026.
The event brought together representatives from European University Alliances across Europe to exchange good practices and develop collaborative approaches for strengthening community engagement, institutional visibility, student participation, inclusion, and the sense of belonging within European Universities.
ACE²-EU participated through its representative Andrei Ghimiși from Constantin Brâncuși University, who contributed to discussions on enhancing engagement within transnational university alliances and explored innovative initiatives aimed at fostering stronger connections between universities, students, staff, and local communities.
The workshop featured keynote discussions, thematic breakout sessions, student-led roundtables, and collaborative activities focused on addressing common challenges and opportunities faced by European University Alliances. Participants worked together to develop proposals and recommendations that will contribute to the future development of the European Universities Initiative.
