Who are ACE²-EU Ambassadors?

ACE²-EU Ambassadors are representatives from partner institutions promoting the Alliance within their communities, fostering engagement and collaboration.

The Role of ACE²-EU Ambassadors

ACE²-EU Ambassadors play a key role in strengthening the visibility, engagement and impact of the Alliance across partner institutions and their wider communities. Acting as local representatives, they support communication, encourage participation and help build meaningful connections across the ACE²-EU university network.

Advocate

Represent and promote ACE²-EU within their institution, increasing awareness of the Alliance’s initiatives, opportunities and achievements.

Connect

Foster engagement among students, academic staff, administrative staff, alumni and external stakeholders, creating stronger links across partner universities.

Inspire

Encourage participation in international activities, mobility opportunities, events and collaborative projects, helping to build an active European university community.

Meet Our Ambassadors

Adriana Cacho

Francisco de Vitoria University

I am a bachelor´s student in International Relations at University Francisco de Vitoria. I enjoy getting envolved in new experiences that push me out of my comfort zone and allow me to connect with others.

Barbara Cano

Francisco de Vitoria University

I am a Biotechnology student at UFV in Madrid. I moved to Spain three years ago, and I enjoy learning about new cultures and connecting with people from different backgrounds.

Martin Zarkov

Goce Delchev University Stip

I am a law student at Goce Delčev University – Štip and a Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS) Scholar. I serve as a member of the University Senate and the Teaching and Scientific Council of the Faculty of Law. I am also a member of the Youth Council of the Municipality of Štip, with a strong interest in international cooperation, European affairs, youth participation and student opportunities.

Deniz Varsavas

Carinthia University of Applied Sciences

I am a researcher at the ADMiRE Research Center at CUAS, where I work on additive manufacturing of sustainable polymers and the design of 3D-printed medical devices, and a PhD candidate registered at Technical University of Leoben in the Materials Science and Technology Department.

Filipa Bagagem

Santarém Polytechnic University

Hello, my name is Filipa Bagagem, I’m an agronomy student at Santarém Polytechnic University, from Portugal. I believe that community and exchange of backgrounds and cultures are the best method of growing, learning and improving ourselves and the others around us.

I am a Bachelor’s student currently studying Sociology of Culture and Management at the Latvian Academy of Culture. My interest in sociology has developed into a passion for experiencing new cultures and meeting people from all over the world, allowing me to further grow my community of friends and colleagues.

Mateusz Guziak

Medical University of Gdańsk

I am a practicing physician and PhD student at the Medical University of Gdańsk, as well as a visiting researcher at the Laboratory for Strengthening Capacity and Performance of Health Systems & Workforce for Health Equity at the University of Belgrade. My academic interests focus on medical education and health workforce research, while outside academia, travelling is my greatest passion- one that has taken me to nearly 70 countries around the world.

Yelizaveta Nikitsina

Medical University of Gdańsk

I’m a master’s student at the Medical University of Gdańsk, but I’m also na intern doctor. I enjoy organizing events, travelling and discovering new countries and cultures. I believe that looking beyond your own field, learning from others and exploring new perspectives are some of the best ways to grow and find inspiration.

I am a Startup Coach and Educator at Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt (THI), where I empower the next generation of innovators. I am passionate about discovering new cultures, reading books on philosophy, psychology and entrepreneurship, and exploring different sports.

Corina-Maria Ciobanu

University Constantin Brâncuşi

I am an Expert in Community Development and Integration within the ACE²-EU Alliance and a Cybersecurity Specialist. With over 12 years of experience in Erasmus+ projects, I developed and successfully secured the Alliance’s first Erasmus+ KA220-HED project, in which I continue to play a leading role in its implementation. I strongly believe in the power of communities to grow and support one another, and I bring that same energy to leading teams and inspiring the people around me to continue developing and growing.

I am an early-career physician working in medical oncology, with a particular interest in breast cancer, cancer survivorship and fertility preservation. I am committed to combining clinical practice with research and to improving the care and quality of life of young people affected by cancer.
