Ingolstadt, Germany – 23 March 2026
The ACE²-EU Entrepreneurship Traineeship Programme is currently taking place at Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt (THI), bringing together students from across Europe for an intensive, practice-based learning experience focused on entrepreneurship, innovation, and collaboration.
Running from 23 to 27 March 2026, the programme is part of the broader ACE²-EU European University Alliance initiative, delivered simultaneously across partner institutions in Germany, Latvia, and Poland.
At THI, participants are engaged in a dynamic programme designed to support the development of startup ideas and entrepreneurial competences. Through a combination of workshops, team-based activities, and expert-led sessions, students are gaining hands-on experience in transforming ideas into viable solutions.
A Practice-Oriented Learning Approach
The programme places a strong emphasis on Design Thinking, a human-centered approach to solving complex problems. Participants work in interdisciplinary and international teams, applying structured methods to identify challenges, generate ideas, and develop prototypes.
Core learning components include:
- developing and refining startup concepts
- conducting customer interviews and stakeholder engagement
- prototyping and testing solutions
- preparing and delivering pitch presentations
Collaboration and Real-World Engagement
The traineeship is supported by the THI Startup Center and a network of innovation partners, providing students with direct exposure to entrepreneurial ecosystems and real-world challenges.
In addition to academic input, the programme includes:
- panel discussions with startup founders and experts
- visits to innovation hubs such as CARISSMA and brigk
- networking opportunities with stakeholders and peers
Empowering Future Entrepreneurs
The programme encourages participants to step outside their comfort zones, develop an entrepreneurial mindset, and build practical skills that are essential for future careers.
By the end of the week, students will have advanced their startup ideas and gained valuable experience in innovation processes, teamwork, and cross-cultural collaboration.
