ACE²-EU Governing Authority Meeting – Strengthening Inclusive Governance and Strategic Direction

The Governing Authority (GA) of the ACE²-EU Alliance met on Thursday, 23 October 2025, from 15:30 to 17:00 at Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt (THI). The session brought together Rectors and Presidents, the General Manager, and representatives from theExternal Stakeholder Board (ESAB), Student Advisory Board (SAB), and Staff Advisory Board (STAB) — ensuring that all voices across the alliance community were reflected in strategic decision-making.

The meeting’s main objectives were to review alliance progress and strategic direction and to ensure stakeholder representation in shaping the alliance’s governance framework and operational roadmap.

Session Highlights (15:30–17:00)

The meeting opened with welcoming remarks by the THI Rector and the Chair of the Governing Authority, followed by round-table introductions and discussions centered on collaborative governance and inclusivity within ACE²-EU.

Members reviewed and provided input on the draft Terms of Reference of the Governing Authority, offering valuable feedback on the proposed governance framework, responsibilities, and operational procedures. The group also examined the Annual Report, discussing progress made across the alliance and key priorities for the upcoming period.

Representatives from the Student, Staff, and External Stakeholder Boards shared perspectives on progress and future strategic directions, highlighting the importance of engagement, transparency, and shared ownership in ensuring the alliance’s long-term sustainability and impact.

Summary and Closure (16:45–17:00)

The meeting concluded with a summary of resolutions and agreed actions, marking a milestone in ACE²-EU’s efforts to embed inclusive governance and strengthen collaboration across all institutional and stakeholder levels.
