ACE²-EU Experts Meet at the Latvian Academy of Culture to Discuss Mobility and the Integration of European Values in Higher Education

On 8–9 June 2026, the Latvian Academy of Culture (LAC) is hosting a meeting of the “EU Values and Mobility” Action Group (WP6) of the ACE²-EU European University Alliance, bringing together representatives from partner universities across nine European countries. Over the course of two days, participants will discuss the development of student and staff mobility, the integration of European Union values into international study and mobility programmes, as well as new collaboration and funding opportunities within the ACE²-EU Alliance.

Particular attention will be devoted to current mobility trends in Europe, ACE²-EU mobility indicators, and the Alliance’s planned activities through the end of 2026. Participants will work in thematic focus groups to develop initiatives for integrating European values into the study process, further enhance the ACE²-EU mobility promotion campaign, and discuss the development of the second edition of the ACE²-EU Mobility Guide.

On the second day of the meeting, partners will review upcoming Alliance activities, explore opportunities for joint projects through Erasmus+ and other international funding programmes, and assess the outcomes of the first initiatives aimed at promoting multilingualism and multiculturalism. The meeting will conclude with the identification of priorities for future ACE²-EU international workshops and working group meetings.
