Kaleidoscope Culture Festival Kicks Off with a Vibrant Opening at THI
Ingolstadt, 21 October 2025 – The Kaleidoscope Culture Festival officially opened this week at Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt (THI), bringing together students from across the ACE²-EU European University Alliance. Participants from nine member universities gathered for a day full of creativity, collaboration, and cultural exchange through a series of interactive workshops and performances.
The festival, which runs until 24 October, explores the theme “The Voices of Europe Today”, offering students the chance to engage with cultural diversity in dynamic and imaginative ways.
The opening day featured three inspiring workshops:
- “Discover Poland: Culture & Crafts & Curiosity” invited participants to explore Polish heritage by designing postcards and T-shirts inspired by traditional motifs.
- “The Plurality of Culture(s): Challenging Existing Stereotypes – Performing New Understandings”encouraged critical reflection on cultural assumptions and gave space for new narratives through performance and dialogue.
- “Traditions Reimagined: Folklore on Cardboard” combined sustainability with storytelling, as students used recycled materials to reinterpret folk traditions through visual art.
Each session highlighted the value of intercultural dialogue and artistic expression as tools for deeper understanding and connection among students from diverse backgrounds.
The festival continues throughout the week with more workshops, performances, and collaborative projects across various ACE²-EU institutions.
