The Goce Delcev University (UGD) is a public university established in 2007, developing study programs in 3 cycles of education: more than 70 active programs in the first and integrated first and second cycle of studies; approximately 80 Master and professional specialist programs; more than 20 accredited active 3rd cycle programs. Besides the academic knowledge offered by the programmes, UGDs pays a lot of attention and dedicates resources to practical teaching and training, which helps our students acquire practical skills and additional experience that will be of great use in their future employment and careers. In its 16 years of existence, the UGD has continuously expanded and developed through the introduction of new faculties and new study programmes, and through a constant appeal to many students from North Macedonia and abroad. Throughout the years, the focus has been on the increase and improvement of the quality of education and scientific research, the introduction of innovation, and digitalisation and establishment of cooperation with local and international institutions, universities and the business environment. Research and development activities are one of the main foundations on which the UGD has been built and is still supported. The academic personnel are constantly included in different research and scientific projects and other forms of cooperation in a large network of local and international partners. The research activity represents one of the key criteria for the promotion of the teaching staff, and the university’s scientific fund offers small grants to encourage and help the research and innovative activities. The University’s mission and vision in an era of globalization, digitalization and technological progress, is oriented to promote and implement academic, specialist and lifelong participation, research, and development of highly developed staff for academic and professional profiles, and at the same time, to monitor educational and research processes to achieve European standards and to contribute to the economy and society in North Macedonia and wider, to achieve sustainable human development. UGD embraces, fully respects, and applies in its daily work the principles of transparency and equality, academic excellence, student-oriented approaches, open and responsible research, social inclusion, sustainable development, and above all culture of dialogue and cooperation among people, institutions, and countries.

Goce Delcev University (UGD), based in Stip, North Macedonia, is as public institution established in 2007. It is among the top-ranked universities in the country, known for its modern and dynamic approach to higher education. UGD offers diverse academic opportunities with 12 faculties and three artistic academies, catering to a range of fields such as natural sciences, technology, social sciences, and the arts. These faculties are distributed across three main campuses and additional educational centers in 5 cities nationwide.

The university places a strong emphasis on aligning education with current economic, industrial, and technological trends, ensuring its programs meet the demands of both national and international labor markets. Its diplomas are internationally recognized and competitive, enhancing graduate employability. With a vibrant student population of approximately 9,000, including over 600 international students, UGD fosters a multicultural and inclusive academic environment.
