Following the completion of the online module in September, the on-site phase of the international Civilian Contingency Planning: C2PE BISR course officially kicked off today in Skopje. Part of the Applied Blended Challenge (ABC) programme within the ACE2EU alliance, this intensive week (October 5–9) brings together students and academic experts from North Macedonia, Spain, and Austria.
Throughout the week, participants are tackling real-world crisis scenarios—ranging from cyber attacks and power blackouts to floods and hybrid threats. The hands-on curriculum includes tabletop simulations, field visits, and practical drills in close collaboration with civil protection authorities and defense sector professionals. The programme is co-organized by Goce Delcev University and Military Academy “General Mihailo Apostolski” (North Macedonia), alongside Universidad Francisco de Vitoria (Spain) and Carinthia University of Applied Sciences (Austria).
