Subject: ACE²-EU Management Board Meeting – Review of Progress and Strategic Planning

The Management Board (MB) of ACE²-EU Alliance convened today, 22 October 2025, from 09:00 to 12:30, hosted by the Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt (THI). The meeting gathered the General Manager, Joint Operational Unit coordinators, advisors, Vice Presidents, and coordinators of all alliance members to review project progress and align on strategic next steps.

The main objectives of the session were to:

  • Review the implementation status of ACE²-EU Work Plan
  • Monitor deliverables and milestones across all work packages
  • Address operational challenges and propose corrective measures

 

The meeting opened with a welcome address from the Rector of THI, highlighting the alliance’s commitment to fostering innovation, collaboration, and European values within ACE²-EU framework.

During the Interim Annual Management Report session (09:05 – 10:15), the Management Board examined the overall performance of the project, assessing achievements and challenges encountered across the reporting period. The discussion emphasized tangible progress in implementing strategic objectives, while also identifying key areas requiring operational adjustments.

After a short coffee break, the Work Package Roundtable (10:30 – 12:15) provided an in-depth review of the activities led by each partner institution:

  • WP1 Coordination and Management – IPS
  • WP2 APP-Factory – UFV
  • WP3 ARIES-Incubator – CUAS
  • WP4 SPACE Centre – LKA
  • WP5 e-Campus – UGD
  • WP6 EU Values and Mobility – LIK
  • WP7 Sustainability – THI
  • WP8 Communications – UCB 

 

Each coordinator presented progress updates, deliverables achieved, and operational challenges. The session concluded with an open Q&A and a focus discussion on the Legal Entity setup, highlighting the alliance’s transition toward long-term sustainability and formal governance.

The meeting concluded (12:15 – 12:30) with the formulation of key strategic recommendations to be submitted to the RPSG and Governing Authority. These recommendations will guide the next phase of the ACE²-EU project, ensuring coherence, efficiency, and impact across all work packages.
