Transnational Student Entrepreneurship Traineeship Week 2026 ”Experience, Learn, Build and Connect Beyond Borders”

Recommended Background

Students are encouraged (but not required) to have completed the Foundation Course:
“Explore Entrepreneurship Basics: A Beginner’s Journey from Ideas to Action”.

Duration and Timeline

  • On-site contact hours: 30 hrs
  • Dates: 23-27 March 2026

Locations

Participants will travel to one of the following three European destinations, where they will take part in the on-site activities of the course.

The programme will be delivered simultaneously at the three locations, allowing students to choose the innovation ecosystem that best matches their interests:

Medical University of Gdańsk (Poland)
Health Industry & Sustainability
→ Ideal for students interested in entrepreneurship within health-related sectors.

Latvian Academy of Culture (Latvia)
Creative Industries & Sustainability
→ Ideal for students interested in entrepreneurship in cultural and creative fields.

 

Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt (Germany)
Automotive Industry & Sustainability

→ Ideal for students who already have business ideas and want to develop them further.

 

Award, Credits and Certification

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive 1 ECTS and a certificate of attendance.

Course Description and Learning Objectives

This programme is open to students from all disciplines and study levels.

During one intensive week, you will immerse yourself in entrepreneurship through hands-on workshops, mentoring sessions, teamwork, and real-world challenges. You will learn how to transform ideas into action while collaborating with students from different countries, academic backgrounds, and innovation ecosystems.

Learning Journey

 

Phase When What happens
Online Kick-off Session 4 March 2026 Introductory online session presenting the course structure, objectives, instructors and mentors. Students will learn about the on-site programme, methodology, and expected learning outcomes, and will receive practical information to prepare for the experience.
Onsite Entrepreneurship Week 23-27 March 2026 One intensive week at the selected host institution, including hands-on workshops on design thinking and start-up ideation, teamwork, mentoring sessions, pitching activities, and interaction with local innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystems.
Reflection & Follow-up End of the programme Group reflection activities focused on consolidating learning outcomes, sharing experiences, and reflecting on skills developed throughout the programme.

 

Learning Objectives

By the end of the course, students will be able to:

    • From Idea to Action: Move entrepreneurial ideas from brainstorming to real-world application through hands-on workshops and expert mentoring.
    • Refined Business Ideas: Develop and improve start-up ideas or early prototypes with support from peers, mentors, and industry stakeholders..
    • Essential Entrepreneurial Skills: Strengthen teamwork, leadership, communication, and pitching skills in an international context.
    • Real-World Entrepreneurship Experience: Connect academic knowledge with innovation ecosystems, bridging theory and practice.

Who Should Apply?

This course is open to students from ACE²-EU partner universities, enrolled in undergraduate or postgraduate programmes, who:

  • Are interested in entrepreneurship and innovation
  • Are considering launching their own company in the future
  • Already have business ideas or want to explore entrepreneurial pathways

 

Students from all academic disciplines are welcome.

Recommended Language Level

English B1-B2
(English will be the working language of the course.)

Application Requirements

During the application process, applicants will be asked to upload the required document directly in the application form, so please have it ready in advance.

  • Students interested in entrepreneurship should submit a one-page motivational letter explaining why they are applying, their background, interests, motivation, and how this opportunity will support their personal and professional development.
  • Students who already have business ideas should submit a one-page business idea summary, including (if available) the business name or logo, company overview, problem–solution statement, target market, key features, team or contact details, and any other relevant information.
