From 10 to 12 February 2025, the Medical University of Gdańsk hosted an intensive three-day training event entitled ‘Communication in International Project Teams and Management of ERASMUS+ Key Action 2 Projects‘, attended by staff from partner universities of the ACE²-EU Alliance. The event fostered strong momentum and a practical focus, facilitating the real exchange of experience in the field of European project cooperation.
The workshops focused on communication and cooperation in international working environments. Participants developed communication skills and intercultural awareness, learning how to navigate cultural, linguistic and organisational differences, and how to leverage diversity to strengthen international teams.
A key element of the programme was its practical approach to Erasmus+ KA2 project management. Through practical exercises and case studies, participants learnt how to build consortia, define roles and responsibilities, manage team dynamics, plan activities, identify risks, and respond effectively to unforeseen situations during project implementation.
The workshops also provided a valuable platform for the exchange of experiences and good practices among partner universities, thereby strengthening skills such as proactivity, planning and collaborative problem solving. All of this enhances the capacity for long-term, sustainable cooperation within the ACE²-EU Alliance and improves the quality of Erasmus+ project preparation and implementation.
Funded by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) under the “Support for European Universities” project, the event demonstrates how European cooperation works best in practice: intensively, engagingly, and impact-driven.
