Joint Governance and Management Structures

Objectives and Participants

The 2nd ACE²-EU Annual Congress represents a pivotal milestone in our Alliance's journey towards establishing a legally recognised European higher education inter-university campus with European and global reach, reputation, and impact, focused on Addressing Future Challenges and Delivering Sustainable Societal Transformation Today.

This congress serves as a strategic convergence point where our Applied, Connected, Entrepreneurial and Engaged (ACE²) approach comes to life through comprehensive governance deliberations, student learning programmes, cultural exchange, stakeholder engagement, and the celebration of our collective achievements during the first year of our ambitious four-year transformation programme.

The event is crucial to oversee the project implementation at the highest strategic level, focusing on the main challenges and objectives of the Alliance's mission to equip students, staff and external stakeholders with the knowledge, skills, and competencies to collectively address future challenges, including the twin transition (digital and green transitions) and current socio-economic issues.

The Annual Congress will facilitate discussions and provide strategic decisions relevant to project implementation, review outcomes, and advance our planning priorities, while also addressing administrative and financial governance; communication, dissemination and exploitation activities; and comprehensive monitoring, quality, and evaluation frameworks.

Governing Authority

The main review and approval body consisting of the Rectors and Presidents of each Alliance member, the General Manager, Strategy Adviser, and representatives from key stakeholder advisory boards.
