  1. Objectives

The Pilot Social Impactors Knowledge Creation Team Workshop on Gender Equity aims to foster collaborative, transnational knowledge creation and practical solution development to address gender equity challenges.

  • Facilitate interdisciplinary and cross-sector collaboration between students, academic staff, and external stakeholders from ACE2-EU partner institutions and beyond.
  • Enable participants to jointly identify, analyse, and prioritise key challenges related to gender equity at local, national, and European levels.
  • Support the co-creation of practical, actionable solutions and activity concepts that can be implemented within institutional and societal contexts.
  1. Event Short Description (from the project) Social Impactors Knowledge Creation Team Workshops facilitate the development of joint Service to Society initiatives by experts of ACE2-EU with external societal and government partners. The outputs of these workshops will focus on providing practical solutions to socio-economic challenges which could be collectively developed and implemented by students, staff, and external partners. It is envisaged that each Social Impactor will conduct up to 9 Knowledge Creation Team Workshops (3-day duration), and the pilot edition will contribute to the Social Impactor on Gender Equity.
  2. Target Group The programme’s target audience is staff, students, and external stakeholders from ACE2-EU partner universities, aiming to share their experience and knowledge on specific Social Impactors topics and jointly create practically applicable knowledge and solutions to strengthen gender equity by combining academic, civil society, and professional experience.
  3. Structure & Methodology The pilot programme is structured as a three-day intensive, participatory process, preceded by an online pre-briefing, and follows a co-creation and collaborative learning approach. Participants engage in a structured sequence of activities, including trust-building, knowledge exchange, collaborative identification and clustering of gender equity challenges, and the co-development, prioritisation, and action planning of practical solutions. The methodology emphasises interdisciplinary collaboration, active participation, and the integration of academic, professional, and civil society perspectives, ensuring the development of concrete, applicable outcomes and future cooperation pathways.
